I really love those gloves, but I feel like I can’t buy expensive gloves or sunglasses. I just lose them. That choker is pretty cool too, but I feel like the bow would get annoying. It’s pretty to look at though…and that’s why it’s on my dream shopping spree list. Duh. For some reason lately, I’ve been really into leopard things as an accent. I love it on shoes, or a cute bag like the one above. I say that, when this past week I bought this coat on clearance from Forever 21. I figure that if it’s really awful in person, I can just use it for the fabric and make ugly pillows out of it or something. After all, Christmas is right around the corner…
As far as makeup goes, I’ve been drooling over this brush when I’m at work. I’m just not sure if it’s worth nearly $40. I’ve been starting to put foundation on with a brush more often, and while I love my Real Techniques brush, I thought I’d like to try something a little fancier…Without dropping hundreds on a REALLY nice one. What do you think? Worth it?
Today I’ve decided to start a new installment. I’m not totally sure what it will entail every week, but we’ll see where it goes. I find that a big chunk of my time online is spent sort of window shopping/ occasionally, yet much less often, actually shopping. So I’ll just share whatever I find myself looking at most often with you.
This week I’ve been really fed up with this extended super hot and humid summer. Fall officially starts next Thursday here and it’ll be nearly 90 degrees. So lame. I want to plant mums and wear boots and do whatever else stupid “basic” white girls do every autumn. Do people still call other people basic anymore? I’m not cool enough to know.
I’ve been really into this idea of blue boots. Preferably a bright blue velvet. No idea why. I’d happily settle for navy though. Blue boots, yellow sweater, cute skirt. That’s the dream. Of course I’d never drop nearly $800 on blue thigh high boots- by never I mean I would if I could- but these Stuart Weitzman shoes are easy on the eyes.
Also, how cute are these Nine West t-strap bow heels? The heels aren’t super high which makes a nice change. I’ve started to gravitate toward lower heels because they’re easier to wear all day. I guess this is what growing up is. But with heels this cute, I don’t mind.
These little Valentino boots are just there for fun. I saw them when I was at work this past week and it made me wish it was cool enough to wear boots. Hence starting the downward spiral into googling “bright blue velvet boots” into the early hours of the morning.
This last dress is something I actually bought. It’s got lipsticks all over it. I had to have it. It’s from Forever 21, so it’s not going to cost the equivalent of a months rent. Not a fan of the beret on the model though. No one looks good in a beret. Except maybe Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Hey guys. Just wanted to write up a quick, slightly silly post today. I’ve had a ton of stuff going on lately. My mom had both her knees replaced, I’m starting a new job, auditionsc, and as I’m writing this I’m sitting at the urgent care clinic because I’ve got some weird rash on my eye. Well it’s not that weird. I’ve been dealing with this issue since high school in varying degrees, but now it’s realllly bad. So with all this shit happening…I just felt like browsing the Internet and looking at things I can’t afford and you all get to do it with me.
I’m in love with this purse. I’m torn between the gold hardware pictured above, the all black, or the silver. I’m really digging the holographic oil slick hardware, but it’s double the price and I don’t care that much. Basically I like them all. I’m waiting for one of them to go on sale before I buy it….patiently waiting….
The bag below is just perfect. It’s about $900. That’s the only non perfect thing about it.
This picture is from Rachel at http://chicagochicblog.blogspot.com/?m=1 And she’s awesome. I love this dress and I like the way she styles it with her corset underneath. Everything looks better with a corset underneath. I wish they would make a dress just like this with actual long sleeves. I’m always freezing cold and I’d love a girly, swishy winter dress like this. I still love it don’t get me wrong, but I’d like to be warm AND have a pretty dress. Is that asking too much? It is 2016 after all.
I’m actually about to start working for Estée Lauder, but this is in no way a sponsored post. I’ve been waiting for this collection for months because I knew it would be awesome. I don’t think all the colors will suit me, but I’m digging the eye glosses and the super sparkly shadows.
That’s about it for now. They just took me back to an exam room to check out my eye, so I’m going to wrap this up. Wish me luck.
Let me start off my saying my feet are MESSED up. Years of being clumsy, dancing, and living in high heels is not a good combination. Since I messed up my ankle last Christmas, I’ve been keeping an eye out for comfortable, yet stylish flat shoes. If you would have told me last December that I’d be getting really into flats and gym shoes, I would have looked at you like you were an alien. And yet, here I am. Writing a blog about them.
Anyway, the Felicia flat. I only own one pair, but I plan to expand my collection the next time I find a sale good enough.
Things I like about them:
-They come in a billion colors and patterns. I have the leopard ones (ANOTHER thing I’d never thought I’d say. I’m very weird and picky about animal print) which look really cute with an all black outfit. Which is 99% of my wardrobe anyway.
– They come in different widths. I have tiny, narrow feet but Sam’s shoes tend to run small and really narrow. I usually have to buy my flats from the girls shoe department because the cut of the shoe comes up higher and doesn’t irritate my old lady bunions…If that makes sense. Normally women’s flats are low cut on the side and the toe box shoes lots of “toe cleavage”. Gross. I like these flats have lots of different sizing options.
– They’re so comfortable. I wore these for an eight hour shift at my retail job. I stood and walked around ALL day on hard concrete and tile floors. Usually my feet feel like they’re about to fall off by the end of the day, but not with these on. That alone is a miracle and completely worth the $100.
Like I said, next time I find a good sale I’m definitely buying another pair or two.
